Sculpture Garden New Orleans
One of the newest additions to New Orleans' cultural scene is the Sydney and Walda Bestoff Sculpture Garden. The world-class collection of modern and contemporary sculpture is presented in a splendid natural setting; spread over 5 acres adjacent to the City Park. Here as you wander the grounds you will find 50 sculptures by such artists as Henry Moore, Fernando Botero, Antoine Bourdelle, Gaston Lachaise, William Zorach, Jacques Lipchitz, Barbara Hepworth, Seymour Lipton, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Kenneth Snelson, George Rickey, Elisabeth Frink, Masayuki Nagare, Lynn Chadwick, Louis Bourgeois, Jesus Bautista Moroles, George Segal, Deborah Butterfield, Alison Saar and Joel Shapiro. Many of the sculptures have been in New Orleans for years, but have only recently moved to their new home. The collection is valued in excess of $25 million.

More than a museum, this is indeed a garden, where you will make your way past lovely pools and greenways. Watch your step, as you'll even have to negotiate some stepping stones. This is a charming way to enjoy art. Bring the family and enjoy the experience together. The museum is open Tuesday-Sunday, and daily tours are available without charge.
